CTET 2023 Notification: Every year, candidates seeking to work as teachers in the public sector must pass the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), which is held twice at the national level. CTET 2023 Exam

To ascertain a candidate’s eligibility for teacher positions at Central Government Schools like NVS/KVS and other Schools, etc., the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is administered. CTET 2023 Registration Starts

According to the CTET Notification 2023, registration for CTET 2023 started on October 31, 2022. There is no longer a requirement to visit the CTET’s official website, www.ctet.nic.in, to submit an online application for the CTET 2023 exam. CTET 2022 Application Fee

If applying for either Paper I or Paper II, a candidate from the General or OBC category must pay Rs. 1000 and Rs. 1200. (if applying for both papers). For applicants in the SC/ST category, the same fee is reduced to Rs. 600/- (if applying for either Paper I or Paper II) and Rs. 600/- (if applying for both papers).

CTET 2023 New Eligibility Criteria

For candidates pursuing Teacher Training Courses, the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) has published a notification outlining the updated CTET eligibility requirements (TTC). Candidates who are enrolled in teacher training programmes are eligible to apply for the CTET Exam, according to the notification. Before submitting their online CTET application, candidates must first review the CTET 2023 Eligibility Criteria. The eligibility requirements for the Primary and Upper Primary level CTET exams are mentioned below.

To qualify as a first stage teacher, applicants must have at least a 10+2 grade point average of 50%.
Candidates must successfully complete their 10+2 or degree from an accredited university with a minimum of 50% overall marks.

The qualifying marks for candidates from reserved categories, such as SC/ST/OBC/Differently Abled, will be relaxed by up to 5%.
Candidates who are enrolled in their final year of a bachelor’s degree in education, an elementary education diploma, etc., are admitted proviso. Their certificate shall be valid only on passing the aforesaid Examinations, before the declaration of Exam result

CTET 2023 Selection Process

Shortlisted candidates for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) will be chosen based on how well they did on the CTET Online Exam. As the CTET is merely an eligibility test, passing it does not guarantee job placement for applicants. They must submit applications for employment at various schools depending on the positions that are open and require CTET Certification, for which candidates must receive more than 60% of the possible points in order to be chosen.

CTET 2023 Exam Pattern

CTET 2023 Exam will be conducted in two phases:

  1. Paper I
  2. Paper-II

Paper I is given to applicants who want to teach students in grades 1 through 5, and Paper II is given to applicants who want to teach students in grades 6 through 8. Additionally, candidates might choose to apply for both Paper-I and Paper-II. These are the types of questions that are posed in both Paper I and Paper II. CTET 2023 Syllabus 

The updated CTET Syllabus and CTET 2023 Notification have both been made public. The comprehensive Syllabus is the first and most important step for a candidate to take when getting ready to take the forthcoming CTET. One of the most crucial components of the CTET exam is Child Development and Pedagogy, which is covered in great detail in the comprehensive CTET Syllabus 2023. Languages, Science/Environmental Science, and Mathematics are other topics covered in the CTET 2023. In addition to this, the candidate must be fluent in any two languages.

Paper-I of the CTET syllabus: Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I and II, Mathematics, and Environmental Science are all included in this.

Exam Paper II Syllabus for CTET: Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I and II, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies are all included in this. According to their chosen subjects, the candidate must select either Math/Science or Social Studies.

CTET Certificate Validity

Since the CTET certificate’s appointment validity has been changed, the certificate is now good for life. According to the Education Minister’s announcement, the updated validity took effect in 2011, and applicants whose certificates have expired can now obtain fresh certificates that have no expiration date. It has been stated that the States and UTs will be in charge of renewing or issuing TET certifications to applicants whose seven-year time has already passed (after 2011). Previously, the CTET certificate was valid for 7 years.

CTET Teacher Salary

Candidates who pass the CTET 2023 Exam are eligible to apply for teaching positions at Central Government Schools such NVS/KVS and other Schools, etc. for Classes 1 through 8. The basic wage for teachers with CTET certification ranges from Rs. 9300 to Rs. 34800. A CTET-qualified teacher might earn between Rs. 35,000 and Rs. 50000 in net monthly compensation.

CTET 2022 Answer Key

The tentative CTET Answer Key 2023 will be made available by CBSE on the test’s official website, ctet.nic.in, giving participants a chance to contest it or voice their reservations. The final answer keys will be posted on ctet.nic.in when the subject experts have evaluated all of the obstacles that the applicants have faced. The final answer keys will be used to determine the CTET Result.

CTET 2023 Results

Following the completion of the CTET examination, CBSE will announce the results. After the CTET examination has been conducted for 04 (Four) weeks, the results will be released. Therefore, the CTET 2023 Result will be proviso announced after a month.

CTET Cut-Off

A mark sheet will be provided to the CTET candidates. Candidates who receive 60% or more in the general category will receive an eligibility certificate, whose validity has been increased from 7 years to a lifetime duration.

According to its current reservation policy, school administration (including the federal, state, local, and aided and unaided governments) may consider granting concessions to individuals who belong to the SC/ST, OBC, differently-abled persons, etc.
